Remember Choose Your Own Adventure, Endless Quest, and Fighting Fantasy books from the 80s and 90s?

The year is 1939. World War 2 has just started in Europe. Back in Los Angeles, you (Cliff Secord, also known as the Rocketeer) become involved in an international game of cloak and dagger when your friend and mentor, Peevy, is kidnapped. The FBI suspects that he has been spirited away, along with a number of other US rocket engineers, to a top secret German chateau to work on the German rocketry program. Depending on your choices, can you save Peevy and the other engineers and not cause an international scandal and make it make it back to Los Angeles in one piece?

When you download the game file, it will be in .html format.  You can open it and play it in any web browser that can support .html.  If you are connected to the internet, you will also be able to see pictures and hear music and complete the bonus section.

There is an included analog card game that you can play to complement the story.  You can also access the instructions and cards directly via https://13thhr.itch.io/the-rocketeer-vs-the-third-reich-card-game

The Rocketeer was created by Dave Stevens.  This is a work of fanfiction paying homage to his work and the world created in the 1991 Disney film, which is slightly different.  All copyrights lie with their original holders.

This game is meant to be free.  Any donations made will be given in full to the Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation in memory of Dave Stevens.

Awesome. This is a way better place for this game/book than its former home on Wattpad

Looking forward to having Cliff punch some Nazis

Thanks for your support!  Yes, I’m glad, in a way, the story got removed from Wattpad since I then discovered Twine, which is a much more suitable platform in which to create interactive stories!
